mutter splutter
Well...it's been another one of those days. Man I'll be happy when I'm finally home. This has been a tough semester. And this week so far has been...eventful. If I can just keep my head long enough to get that flight home, I'll soon see my family and Hayden and...sigh. :) That'll cheer me up. Yay for Christmas! I can't wait for the friends, fun and parties! Rob and Sharah will be coming home too!
We always have a gathering at our house sometime around Christmas for my, Rob, and Sharah's friends to just come and hang out and make some fun. :) So if you fall into that category ;) and can make it, I've been informed it's gonna be on the 28th this year. December 28th. The Meservy's house. lol. That's all I've been told so far. Hopefully we'll have all kinds of joyful fun together over Christmas. Yayety!
So I was going to tell you what was so great about my day. Well I had to stand in a line, that seemed to hold BYU-I's entire student body, for almost 2 hours in order to take my last two exams for my interpersonal communications class. I'll tell ya. Standing in a line that long gets me a bit irritable. lol. Not a lot fortunately but a bit. The kind of irritable where the girl behind you being on her cell phone the whole time starts to bug you, as well as the flash of annoyance whenever someone brushes past or bumps into you. That kind of irritable. I was glad that Rebecca heard about this 2 hour long wait -ness though. I was just going to take my time at home, going over the chapters, and then at some point mosey on over to the testing centre.... I don't know what would have happened then. Fortunately Becca got word about the wait so we grabbed our stuff and headed over there. I could finish studying while I waited. :) Which I did. Had just enough time.
It was kind of cool to see so many people. Fun to wave at people you knew as the snake moved through the building - around corners, down hallways, and back, up stairs, outside.... over an hour and a half's worth of shuffling steadily forward, with my nose stuck in a text book.
I thought about the fact that this would be a good opportunity for people to work on finishing their Book of Mormon reading. :) If the line is that long tomorrow (when I go take my exam over all 100 scripture masteries) that's how I'll keep myself occupied. Not long after I made that comment to Rebecca we passed a friend of ours doing just that. :) He said he was in Moroni 7. Yay him! lol.
How's everyone coming? I'm in... *goes to look* Mormon Chapter 3. There's not long left of the year. Let's see it out right. :)

Alma. Can't remember the chapter number, but the Anti-Nephi-Lehies have pledged not to stain their swords again with the blood of their brethren.
Yes, I'm gonna be reading at least an hour a day until Christmas.
